A question about Shield game controller configuration and Kodi Internet Gaming Archive.

I have RetroArch installed, so I can play Atari 2600 games. I have not sucessfully been able to play the 2600 games on IAGL. Anyway, in RetroArch, I have configured my controller to bring up ROM controls by hitting [Start+Select]. There I can choose to exit the game, or save state, load state… My question is, can the same thing be done in Kodi IAGL? If so, how do I access that menu? As it is, in IAGL, when I hit [Start+Select] it just kicks me back to the ROM selection menu. At one point I did manage to ‘fat-finger’ a menu with only a few selections on it (like play/resume, exit, something else) but for the life of me, I can’t figure out how I got that! Does anybody have a list of commands? I’ve already done the button setup thing, that didn’t help. submitted by /u/thenoof [link] [comments]

Considering purchasing shieldtv but I’m a scared

So I’ve heard a lot of good things about the nvidia shield tv, however, I still have more questions before dropping the cash. I plan on using the classicboy emulator to play all the old classics. I’m a little hesitant due to bluetooth lag I’ve experienced on other boxes with controllers that make any real sort of gaming impossible. What is everyone’s experience good or bad with the shieldtv and controller respectively? submitted by /u/kyleashimself [link] [comments]

How to connect Sony DualShock 4 to Xiaomi Mi Box S 4K TV Box?

I have Xiaomi Mi Box S 4K TV Box and I would like to play games using my Sony Dualshock 4, but it seems to be impossible to connect the game controller to tv box. I’ve already tried to connect it to my Pixel 2 XL and there were no issues with it. I tried the following algorithm: Turn on pairing mode on DualShock via pressing and holding the PS button and share button until the lightbar begins to strobe quickly. Open Bluetooth search new devices on Mi Box After those manipulations, I can see a new Bluetooth device. I start to pairing them and that’s all. It “pairing” devices about a minute and DualShock going to sleep mode.😞 Anybody had the same issue? submitted by /u/astefanovskiy [link] [comments]
